Very little, except that a lot of music critics and fans think Jay Farrar, Jim Boquist, Dave Boquist and Mike Heidorn may comprise the best American rock band since Bruce Springsteen last took his E Streeters on the road. It's all par for the course, especially if the course traipses through the occupied territories of alternative country and Americana music. These days, there are plenty of bands offering plaintive vocals, wisps of pedal steel, occasional feedback blasts, spot-on harmonies and a drummer capable of shifting from country shuffle to rock 'n' roll stomp quicker than a Lamborghini goes from zero to 60.
